Given the official explanation for the destruction of the WTC Building 7, it is quite difficult to imagine how the Beijing building could still be standing, since the extent of the fire was orders of magnitude greater than the spotty fires at WTC 7. According to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), small fires in WTC 7 caused a hither-to-unknown phenomenon, christened "thermal expansion," which caused the building to self-destruct in just seconds. The perimeter steel frame structure of the MOH was much lighter than that of WTC 7 and yet it did not fail.

Any honest hypothesis of the destruction of Building 7 must account for all of the data. If it doesn't, then it's not scientific. Most of the data (i.e. tons of molten metal, melted steel beams, chemical evidence of the incendiary thermite, etc.) has been left out of their final report. And that which remains (i.e. the free-fall acceleration of the building for 100 feet of drop) is without precedent, save for explosive controlled demolition, and left completely unexplained by NIST.

There are many researchers and organizations that have looked seriously at the dozens of anomalies in the destruction of Building 7 and the other World Trade Center buildings and have all signed a petition demanding a new investigation. These include scientists, architects, engineers, firefighters and other technicians. One has to wonder why NIST hasn't addressed any of their hundreds of concerns or ever tried to collaborate with them, as one professional organization to the next. But the fact that they have not leads us to a key question: What are they trying to hide?

Our upscale booth will include 2 large LCD screens showing the destruction of the Twin Towers and Building 7, and vertical banners listing the evidence of explosive demolition. We will also be polling architects with our laptops showing them the destruction of Building 7, and asking them, "What is this building doing?" A videographer will stream the action live on the web at AE911Truth.org. It may be carried by other websites as well. We will be passing out thousands of our new 30-minute Executive Summary DVD's which contain the hardest-hitting evidence from the Research Edition of Blueprint for Truth. Of course, we'll also be passing out the latest Twin Towers & Building 7 evidence cards.

But… our efforts won't end there. The attendees and the public will be invited to a dynamic multimedia presentation by Richard Gage, AIA, on Saturday, May 2nd at 7 pm at a nearby venue with a seating capacity of 200! We expect it to be full of curious architects.

These historic events are covered in detail on the website under "News – Appearances – Euro Tour." Richard wrote an insightful account of his experiences in a travel diary and posted many photos of storied and stunning architecture he encountered on his journey.

Hundreds of architects and engineers came out to see what all the controversy was about. Full houses in Madrid and Paris caused people to be turned away. Richard delivered some of his best presentations to date and received many standing ovations. The language barrier was overcome by translators in Spain, Belgium, France and Germany. A show of hands, as always, revealed that hardly anyone accepted the official conspiracy theory (plane impact and fire-induced collapse explanation) after being exposed to the hard evidence.

Mr. Saive had expressed his concerns regarding 9/11, highlighting the work of Richard Gage, AIA, and had enclosed the AE911Truth DVD! Of course, the entire 9/11 Truth movement was delighted to read of this new development. However, they seem to be evenly divided between those who believe the FBI has a freedom fighter in their midst who is about to lose his job, and those who think it is a trap! We are optimistic here and are pressing the FBI for dialogue. We are supporting the new Administration's mantra, "transparency and accountability."

Please write Mr. Heimbach yourself, encouraging him to follow through with his effort to get at the truth behind these building collapses. Let him know that high-tech nano-thermite is not manufactured in a cave in Afghanistan but only in top DOD-contractor plants, and that these 3 high-rises were extremely secure buildings that probably didn't allow Muslim terrorists access to plant incendiaries or explosives. Use your imagination and help us to get the FBI's nose on the right trail!

When NIST released its draft report on WTC7 for public comment in August 2008, it contained the claim that Building 7 fell 40% slower than free-fall speed. I responded by using data from the NIST report itself to accurately calibrate a video analysis showing that Building 7 fell with an acceleration "indistinguishable" from free-fall for nearly 2.5 seconds. This is equivalent to falling approximately eight stories with no resistance whatsoever. An object can do no work while it is in free-fall, so eight stories of structural support must have been eliminated by something other than the falling portion of the building. My video work on this topic, along with supporting work by other AE911Truth members, was the basis for several official objections to the NIST report. To the surprise of many people, in the November release of its final report, NIST reversed itself on the question of free-fall. They did their own measurement, which essentially agrees with our measurement! They tried to obscure the significance of that conclusion, however, acknowledging on the one hand that this would mean that there would be "no structure", without acknowledging that this could only mean that the columns had to have been “removed.”

Another of my recent video measurements was the acceleration of the top section of WTC1 as it began to fall. I found that it underwent constant acceleration, about 64% of the acceleration of gravity, for the entire time the roofline was visible.This measurement was not unique. It confirmed an earlier measurement of the same motion by Graeme MacQueen and Tony Szamboti. But when analyzing the forces at work, I gained a remarkable insight. As long as the top section of the building continues to accelerate downward, the net force must be downward, so the upward force must be less than its weight: only 36% of its weight, in fact. By Newton's third law, the force it was exerting on the lower section of the building must also have been only 36% of its weight. Therefore, as long as it was accelerating, it was not exerting sufficient force to crush the lower section of the building. This provides yet another proof that forces other than gravity were at work, thus providing evidence that explosives were used to demolish the lower section of the building, allowing the upper section to accelerate through the debris. I am writing an article to be submitted to a peer-reviewed journal based on my findings regarding the downward acceleration of WTC1.

Things are slowing down here in Florida, but I've got a great idea for a building removal company. My plan is to simply use old SEC case files (Enron & WorldCom files would be best) and light them on fire on various floors of the skyscraper I'm contracted to bring down. Then, thanks to NIST's new discovery, I will simply wait for it to collapse, at near-free fall speed, with all columns severed simultaneously, and drop neatly into its own footprint (obviously due to "thermal expansion"). The afternoon luncheon was attended by almost 70 people, including a large number of active and retired architects, engineers and contractors, as well as other professionals from all around the Bay Area. They came to hear a different perspective from AE911Truth movement founder, Richard Gage, about the suspect collapse of the World Trade Center Towers, and to learn more about the "quiet" demise of WTC 7, a nearby 47-story steel-framed office building erected in 1987 that also mysteriously collapsed in near free-fall acceleration that tragic day in September 2001.

Mr. Gage brilliantly provided his sophisticated PowerPoint^™ presentation for over an hour to a very attentive audience, followed by a Q&A session. By a show of hands, this enlightenment was the first of its kind for many in attendance.

It is important to note that before the presentation, an informal poll was taken. Almost half the room, representing most of the architects and engineers present, raised their hands when asked if they thought: 1) the "official" jet plane collision and hydrocarbon fire explanations were the causes of these unprecedented collapses, or 2) if they were unsure as to the causes. After the sobering presentation, the same poll was taken, and only five people raised their hands in response to the same questions! I discovered that this remarkable audience turnabout, especially amongst architects and engineers, is typical after Mr. Gage's persuasive presentations.

The fledgling "Truthers" were asked to sign the petition (already signed by over 600 A&E's and over 3000 others at time of writing) and many pledged to take a deeper look into the unresolved issues, questions, and critical analysis that reasonably challenge the "official" version of the story offered by NIST, the United States government, and the corporate media. A table in the back of the room offered the opportunity to donate much-needed funding to AE911Truth, become a sustaining member, and peruse invaluable books, videos, and other materials for additional study and reference.

Coincidentally, well known 9/11 filmmaker Dylan Avery was personally screening his Internet phenomenon Loose Change, Final Cut documentary later that evening at nearby Marin College. Mr. Avery attended Mr. Gage's presentation and was introduced. Likewise, Mr. Gage was introduced at Avery's two-hour screening, which attracted almost two hundred concerned citizens with similar informal poll taking. Both Gage and Avery appeared together on the popular Peter B. Collins radio show the same day.

I recently joined the 9/11 Truth movement after viewing Zeitgeist on DVD this past fall. Although I've been a long-time advocate for nonprofit environmental and animal justice causes for many years, and consider myself well informed, for some reason I did not hear anything about the movement from friends, colleagues, family, mainstream media – no one – for over seven years. Considering the controversial subject matter and the other pressing issues affecting our daily lives, I think that's probably a typical scenario for many Americans. It is engaging grassroots organizations like AE911Truth that will help bring it home, in time. Better late than never in my opinion, and I'm glad to be aboard.

If AE911Truth is right about the cause of the collapses strictly on a real-world (A&E, physics & chemistry) science level, as I firmly believe we are, the overwhelming negative political, social, and economic implications are almost unbearable to imagine. Perhaps it is these highly charged and ugly implications that psychologically block many honest, hardworking Americans from actively searching and sifting through the available evidence for themselves. But to acknowledge the real-world science surrounding 9/11 means to recognize that the "official" version of the events is a blatant lie, and all that comes with that sad conclusion.

To be sure, science cannot predict where the straight 9/11 facts will eventually take us as concerned individuals, citizens or as the country of the United States in whole. However, if we resolutely believe in real-world science, as well as what we can plainly see with our own eyes and minds, we will be taking a major step in the right direction, no matter where the path leads. The Founding Fathers (and Mothers) of the United States took a big risk over 230 years ago fighting for justice, and so must we if we want to preserve our hard-won rights and freedom.

Remember, when you join AE911Truth in spirit, by name, or financially, you're not joining an indefinite cause that will frequently ask for support. We all have better things to do with our limited time on Earth. Moreover, we would like to put ourselves "out of business" as soon as possible once the mission is accomplished, and elected and appointed officials demonstrate that they can fully embrace and uphold the laws of United States and our Constitution, as their oath of office demands.

But until then, the truth must be told via grassroots presentation after presentation, and that will take as long as it takes. Your generous assistance can speed up the process and get us back to where we all belong as Americans and world citizens.
