Personal 9/11 Statement:

Always thought there was something fishy about this. If there is nothing to hide, then why are they hiding everything? Originally from Maine, I grew up in a somewhat conservative family and when I could vote for the first time I voted for Nixon. History has shown that I made a massive mistake and feel I owe George McGovern an apology for believing Nixon's lies about him, especially after reading about McGovern's WWII bomber pilot exploits in Stephen Ambrose's excellent book 'The Wild Blue'. While discussing politics with a conservative friend, he asked me how my political views could change from being conservative to Liberal. My response was "I got an education".
That's what we need here. We need to learn the truth, educate people, and take steps to ensure this never happens again.
