Transfer student from liberal arts college to UC Berkeley to major in Architecture. Interrupted by Vietnam War and Peoples' Park protests. Obtained B.A. in 1979 after other pursuits, including much work in the trades. Suffered work accident in 1985 after more work in the trades. Started Residential Design Business at home 1988, and soon moved to separate office. Studied for exams. Licensed 1999.

Personal 9/11 Statement:

Too many questions unanswered. Why did firefighters say they heard rhythmic, successive explosions? Why did buildings fall as if exploded from inside?
